Point is trucks can be legal and you as buyer and seller can make more money correcting them in a legal manner, plus you save more trucks, get to enjoy them and pass it on to others. i think others only see the $$ in these trucks right now, reminds me of the 98k german mauser sniper rifle. When they first started becoming noticed they were $25 each, after the speculators got involved they ran up the price to $3000 with scope and matching numbers. Then the supply dried up and people started making them up out of german armmory stampings with forged but correct serial numbers, then they crashed and most moved on to different guns. Trucks are a little harder but i have run into them with mismatching frame/vin/engine for the body they are mounted on. Looks like the first thing to be looted is the bed, then they try to put any scrap bed they have on to pass it on after making there profit on the orig. bed, swith a cab or 2 and presto the truck is a mismatch to make more money. Of course the uninformed buyer is never told this. Any truck without a title is fixable legally, but trying to buy on the net is guarantee to be burned, especially if they have no tile, you get caught when you take your truck in to inspect it and they go to check the vin/frame/engine against the title papers, bango hot truck, instant loss of title as it is seized and now truck is devalued to nothing, now look to seller, gone and buyer is stuck piggy.
