Please correct the title, the lawyer is suposed to do this even though he apparently has not, he can be disbarred, did you pay sales tax when you purchased the truck without title? Sounds like you are avoiding the paying of transfer tax and sales due to the state, if not why do you not get the lawyer to straighten this out so someone could bid on the truck in good faith? It is so easy if you want to fix. Any tax office will help you walk thru the process, takes 10 to 18 days and then you could list the truck with a picture of the texas title on ebay to reasure buyers that it has matching vin and clean title in your name with all fees paid, by the way you can tell the lawyer he is liable for paying for the title as it is part of the estate probate costs, you just need to get it straight before you ask me to do what you are required to do by the law in the first place bud. Hope you get title straightened, i am a buyer who has been burned by no title before. Eric, i never said you sold titles, but i thought i saw you offer to give somebody one, until he uses it on a truck it is not against the law. But when he gets caught using it hw will squeal on you to get out of his jam, i never thought you were intentionaly breaking the law, just not aware what happens when and if a disgruntled buyer comes back, protect yourself better, know the tile law in the different states, hate to see someone give you the business over helping someone in good faith.
