Eric, you are dead wrong, the state where the truck is located is being cheated out of the sales tax and registration, but this is absorbed by the buyer when he finds out there is a lein, real owner, or no owner to sign the title over with a notary public that will check his power of attorney against his id aka drivers license. Point is some of us work where we can not risk any falisfying of goverment documents under any circumstances, i beleive i have seen you offer titles to people for trucks. This is wrong, when you put a title other than the correct one on a truck you have commited a felony, what happens when someone goes to have a truck inspected and the serial numbers donot match the title? Happens all the time. point is seller with no title deserves no help on price without a good legal title, not the one mailed to him to get it on the road by well meaning indiv. I hope you told the truth to those officers when you said they were parts trucks, they are all going to be parted and sales taxes paid right? Better apply for a dealers license before you get in trouble over your head, or at least read up on the law on tiles, it cost me a retainer and 1 years grief will a similar deal on a truck due to no title, buying on ebay without a title check by officer is good way to get burned. That is too good a truck not to get title straightened out before offering it to informed buyers, no tile no sale!
