Hi Derek
Take the plugs out, put compression guage in # 6 bump engine over till it starts to move the guage, remove 1\4" plug from rear of cyl head using a suitable (piece of dowling or coat hanger) turn engine by hand till dowling reaches its highest point. If it starts to go down turn engine backwards to get it to its peak
