I have a clear fuel filter near the carberator. I took it off and blew through it. I has no restrictions. I then reinstalled it and watched it during cranking. It spits about a half teaspoon into the filter every second of cranking. The filter is only 15 percent full of gas, even with the engine running.
Now the question becomes "Should I put a electric fuel pump inline with with the mechanical one, or should I bypass the mechanical pump?
Is there any particular fuel pump available at Napa that would suit this application?
