There are also the possibilities of engine running backwards (causing fire), burning pistons, bending rods, etc. About 1967 I used lots of it starting ferds,(302 thin wall casting) -20 to -30f high humidity. It helped sometimes if they were flooded, but I had lots of carbs catch fire,& usually about then the battery would go dead so you couldn`t suck the flames down. I became real good at ripping off my shop coat & smothering the flames, or chucking snow balls at it.
BUT that was ferds under warrantee (now you no some of what goes on in some dealerships),please dont wreck your Dodge especially a POLY,thanks OLD George
