Hi Tom,
Here is a non-answer answer I posted a few months ago: SWEPTLINE VALUE

You're going to hear stories of trucks being bought and sold for $300 and you'll hear from guys
who won't pay more than $600 for a primo Sweptline. That being said, here is what I think. Most unrestored, minimal rust, running condition Sweptlines can be bought and sold starting at around $1,500 to $2,500. Good quality Sweptlines with minimal rust, with all systems working and good
straight bodies can fetch as much as $5,000. Now,...and this is where it gets complicated, Primo,
good running trucks with chery paint, no dents or rust, ranging from original mint to total frame-off restorations can bring in as much as $25,000. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and your truck is worth only what someone is willing to pay for it. When selling always ask for more than you want to get, it's easy to lower your price, impossible to raise it. When buying always
start lower than you are willing to pay if the seller won't come down, negotiate or move on to the next truck. Now there are ALWAYS exceptions to the rule. The yellow W300 in our banner is overbuilt beyond belief, the Beautiful Blue Sweptline that is pictured on the truck picture pages
looks like it just rolled off of the showroom floor. These trucks will command more. Specialty trucks like Dude Packages, Adventurer, CSS, 4WD or Crew Cabs will vary the price accordingly, as well as engine packages. Many of us have not aquired our trucks to watch the prices raise, although that is a definite possibility, we drive these trucks because they represent a link to our fathers or grandfathers, to simpler times, to a time when quality was represented by quality labor, all metal vehicles and Dodge Tough trucks that refused to die.
