I've used, sold and installed many of these hitches and have been impressed with their quality.
The 10" drop hitches would allow you to keep your "Cowboy" bumper. These hitches do bolt through the bottom of the frame, but use steel plates that rest on top of the bottom rail to prevent pull-through.
The Class 5 designation is tested by ASE to meet that designation's requirements. If you've got an extra-heavy load - you might want to look into our (or someone elses) weight distributing hitches ... adds significant weight capacity.
