Here 'tis a picture of it! It has an early 60s 225 CID
Slant six with a new process 435D 4 speed trans. the transfer case and
all other running gear is original M-37 stuff.
It has a new timing chain & sprockets, the oil pressure runs around
55-60 lbs, no smoke! Trans is tight. 4x4 works fine, has lockout hubs.
all guages except fuel work. (I think the sender is bad) as the fuel
guage works when the sender wire is grounded.
There is NO RUST!! anywhere! Ther are two dents, one in the drivers door
and one along the rail of the passenger side of the bed. (see pix) It
has four decent 9.00 16 firestone type mud & snow tires, will throw in a
spare too. There are no windshield wipers. (I would recommend electric
anyway!) It is 12 volt with alternator. All lights work, brakes are OK
but need adjustment. No major leaks anywhere. I also have the winter
side covers for the motor and the cover for the fuel tank sender (not in
pictures) Bumper is very straight except some holes where there was a
tow-bar attached. Seats are very nice. It loves to go down the highway!
The cab is home made but is attached to the original bows for a canvas
top! The passenger side windshield glass is cracked, as well as a small
crack in the passenger door glass. It has a Mopar 75 model heater.
(Works good) And the military dash was replaced with the civvy dash out
of an early 60s dodge truck. (Most likely where the engine & trans came
from!) Brake & clutch pedals are now the swing type, out of 60s dodge
too. Overall a good dependable truck. I am selling due to getting a more
original truck from an auction this summer, that will suit the 24 volt
radios I want to install.
Price is $3000.00 OBO. It is located in S. central Idaho, I can deliver
to CA, NV, ID, MT, WY, N&S Dakota for additional money. It is currently
titled & registered in Idaho. Thanks for your interest.
