I was thinking about something like a parking brake. It would be able to lock the inner and outer portion of the swivel together using some type of friction shoe. If cleaverly designed, it could be removed with no sign of its installation. In addition, it could be locked at any angle in case some off road manuver made that advatageous. Just my first though after pins and hydraulics. One thing about the portapower, aren't they usually single acting. They would help you get the pins in, but how do you get them out?
