Gentlemen, what is the axle they used in the snocat, reason i am so determined to id it is because i have got a pic in the mail of one a person has in belize, it shows the snowcat with BUDD style power wagon wheels attached to the outside of the pontoon or whatever it is called, aka having your tire and track courtesy of the powerwagon axle, guys drive the thing down the hiway and then remove the tires to enter the swamp, prob is they made there own track out of tires as they had no $ or idea where to get terra track, all they have is belt with tire strips cut off of a tractor for lugs, if you look at the snowcat model from 40,50,60 they have a flange sticking out of pontoon where the hub extension they made bolts up to a w100 or w200 w300 axle, looks like 6 bolt hole in crummy pic i have, what rear is this out of, same axle as ffpw, civilain, etc? Would it have the same bolt hole as what othe rdodge w100 w200 m37? What exactly is inside the pontoom driving the axle/sprocket? Thanks, everybody, especially those i forgot in excitement!BTW, is the transfer case as powerwagon also as well as tranmission?
