I have a set of dana 70 axles out of a 1970 powerwagon
wrecker with the same 7-1/4 on 6 lug pattern. I have been
trying to get disk brakes for these axles for the past few
years. I also noticed the later model toyota 1 ton
and called for price on new rotors hear in Memphis Tennessee
and they were $82.95 a piece. How would you mate the hub/drum
to the rotor? If you are familiar with Four Wheeler magazine
there was a Jeep kaiser in the 97 top truck challenge w/ Dana
6 lug 70's front & rear. The rear axle had disk brakes. Also in
the March 97 issue of Petersen's 4 wheel & off raod there is a
picture of a 6 lug dana 70 rear with factory rear disks. I dont Know
what truck it came off of. I emailed petersens & havent gotten any
reply. If any one has a remedy please help
