All good thoughts - check the fuel filter also. I had the same problems when I was vapor locking at higher altitudes. It needs more gas to run so check those things that would disrupt the air fuel ratio. (Vacume leak-too much air, or fuel starvation-plugged filter, plugged jets, vapor lock, fuel pump output low, water in the gas etc. BOB
