What do you think? Compression varies between cylinders
from 60 psi to 110 psi. Squirting oil in brings the
compression way up on some, not at all on others. Oil
pressure is 25 psi at idle and maybe 40 at speed. It
sounds fine, but dies at mid-throttle unless I choke it
a good bit, though that might be the non-stock carb. Oh,
yeah, it's the flathead 230. Haven't tried climbing any
serious hills yet. Just looking for opinions on whether
this is still a good motor for a while or if I have to
bite the bullet and try to rebuild it.
