Chevy conversion question

I am installing a 350 chevy/sm420 in a 1953 M37. Does anyone know if Chevy made any bell housings that used a rotating shaft to actuate the throw out bearing (similar to the Dodge). If one was available, it would sure make clutch linkage easy. Any thoughts on solving the linkage without going to hydraulics?
