Steve,

Yes, I looked, and I noticed that the same trucks have been there for a while. They did make me feel good about my truck deal - if that was your intent.

Also I should make it known that I wasn't
bummed about the guy before me purchasing
the truck for so little, if anyone thought that.
I just wanted it known that there are still a few great buys out there, if a person is lucky enough to stumble on to one ( sort of like those old Corvette stories, only now they are PW stories).

The way I figure, that truck made three guys very happy. The guy that originally sold it got someone to take the "old truck that hasn't run in years" off his hands - and he got paid for it (happy guy).
The next guy made $1000 from his 2 week
investment, and all he did was bring it home, clean out the box, and hosed it down (happy
guy).
I have a truck that is at least worth $3,500 as it sits, and all I paid for it was $1250 (happy guy).

Now who can argue about the happiness that these trucks bring to so many ?

The moral of the story, if there is one, when you make an offer, it is a lot easier to raise it than lower it. I feel that when a person sayes" make me an offer" he wants to play the game. If you offer more than what he wanted for it, I am sure that the seller will oblige you (happy guy).

Don
