There are a number of surplus dealers that carry the M37 bakelite distributor cap.
NOTE: If you order by mail order, have the supplier inspect the cap to make sure the little carbon button in the center of the cap is properly installed. I've seen several caps where the button was not pressed far enough into its brass retainer and the brass retainer was not pressed/burnished down against the button. On these units, the button sometimes protruded out too far, which prevented the cap from fully seating against the distributor body.
When you test the fit of the cap by fully seating it on the distributor body, there should still be a little bit of travel left in the spring contact on top of the rotor.
