A couple other things that you probably already know that I learned too late. To gain a few inches clearence between the fan and radiator, move your rad. core to the front of your tank and if you are repowering with small block chevy, the water pumps on the 2 1/2 ton chevy trucks use one that raises the fan up about 5 1/2 inches, depending on how you mount the engine this may keep you from having to run an electric fan.
