I first must apologize to Joe for going off the topic a bit, but I have found this forum to be a great source of information, when other places have left me stranded.
My father is the owner of a 1984 Ramcharger (Prospector Package). He has had a difficult time with a certain local body-shop in finding front replacement seats when he had it re-painted and the interior re-done. (the original seats were beyong repair) Apparently, Dodge bucket seats from newer years of Rams and Ramchargers(somewhere between '85 and '93) differed just slightly at the base..they mount-up just fine, but when you sit, you realize that the seat is much more "reclined" than the original seat. I was just wondering if anyone has had any experience in this area, or has tried to do the same thing. I realize that he could probably purchase after-market type seat, but I am sure he would rather put that kind of expence into other upgrades...not that he is cheap, but after pricing some of those seats, I personally would be afraid to f*rt on them, let alone get muddy and dirty from a hunting trip. (beside, I am afraid the seats would be worth more than that trusty truck)
