Two more bits of advice:
1. Don't forget the outer seal on the rear axle (the one that seals against the lock nut lip) These seals are still being manufactured by CR and are readily available - I got mine at Pep Boy's and they were delivered next day. I believe the price was around $16.00.
2. Even when all parts are in perfect condition the seals may leak when using synthetic lube. I spent months tracking this problem down and finally switched to a 50/50 blend of synthetic and conventional lubricant. Now the seals merely seep a very small amount which I would consider normal.
