When I was looking into an alternative to my
points system in my 1/2 ton 230 ci engine, I came across this setup. It is a breakerless
electronis ignition system that fits entirely under the stock distributor cap. It works on rotating cobalt magnets which trigger an electonic switching module (hall cell)
ALthough I never personally bought or installed one, a good friend bought the same setup for his older Ford truck and loved it.
The company also claims a 20% HP increase.
