How common are late model crew cabs?

I have a 1970 W-200 crewcab that needs some restoration and drivetrain work to make it a daily driver. I have found a 1983 Dodge W-350 one ton four wheel drive crewcab with a short bed and single rear wheels. I can't find anything indicating that these were ever built. It is a corps of engineers truck that was recently released from the government. It has 318, auto, 205, and 60's front and rear, ps, and pb. No rust on this big boy, but several dents although minor. What is it worth? Would I be better off to put a big block in front of the 4 speed in my 70? Has anyone else seen a mid 80's crew like this? Appreciate the input.
