Mico was the brand name. They still make them. Quite commonly used on wreckers. Great tool. It's just like some one holding down the pedal. Not DOT legal used as a parking brake on a truck. In other words you still have to have a mechanical one (a separate system). They didn,t have this figured out from the start. I have a 1952 5 ton M62 wrecker and the Mico Loc is the only parking brake it ever had.
