Dana 60 front on 47 PW? Has anyone tried it?

The steering linkage on a 47 PW is inside the frame.
The steering linkage on a late 70's Dana 60 is outside.
Has anyone managed to upgade one of these early power
wagons with a Dana 60 front end? What did you do
about the steering linkage? I'm hoping that some well
placed Borgenson joints are sufficient to make the swap.
