Your truck is worth all the $2500 you're asking. I'd love to buy it for the $2500, but am depleted by wife's medical bills.
If you find someone that wants your truck, its reasonably priced, and if someone doesn't like 50 year old trucks (and all the work) you can't give 'em one. You'll find a buyer looking for your truck, have confidence. I certainly would expect your truck to bring all of $2500 on ebay, and it doesn't cost much to find out.
