Here's a quick & honest(under estimate) to restore a 67 WM300:
Let's say a guy could pick up a nice rust free & restorable truck for $8000? Seem fair? Ok, here are a few bills I think would be fair to expect on a body off, proper restoration:
Paint-$8000(doubt it)
Interior-$500 for seat, floor mats, headliner kit etc.(doubt it)
Guages-$500 Repair broken guages & re silk screen the faded guages.
Doors-$500 Weather strips, door seals, regulators, handles, etc etc.
Glass-$200?
Bed Wood, angle strips & bed strips-$1000?
Tires & wheels-$1000 inc rim powder coating?
Brakes-$1500 including having the hydrovac rebuilt?
Wiring harness-$500+
Wiper motors-$200 inc. arms & blades
Engine-$2500 Proper rebuild
Trans-$500 reseal, syncro's etc
Transfer Case-$500 reseal, bearings etc.
Front End-$1000 including bearings seals felt wipers & retainers U joints etc?
Rear end-$500 reseal, bearings painting etc
Winch & PTO-$500 reseal bearings gaskets etc.
Frame misc.-$2000 Blasting, powder coating, springs shackles etc?
Exhaust-$250
Front bumpers-$500 Straighten? Repo?
Running Boards-$800 Ever seen a perfect original set?
Floor plates-$200 Ever seen a set not pitted?
Radiator-$500
Heater-$100
Then you still have a never ending list of smalls to buy...Data plates for the glove box, a glovebox liner, knobs, governor, generator, regulator, starter, sun visors etc etc etc.
If you just add up a my partial list, you're over $31,000...& that's a conservative start.
This will all sound rediculous to those that like to drive a nice old beater...but if you want a restored Flat Fender, this is what it will cost you to do it yourself.
