Hobart, Lincon, Miller. These are the best makes & all 3 are as good as they get.
They all have top line welders...Lincon has some bottom line ones too. If you plan to buy a Mig & find one under $500...it's not so good regardless of make.
Buying a welder is no different than buying a car, you get what you pay for & if it's extra cheap, it's extra garbage.
