and various products for dissolving lime in the bathroom. I use an industrial version of "LIME AWAY" and soak small parts overnight. It leaves a dark phosphate coating thats good under paint. There are also particular products for body shops and at home improvement stores for 'etching' metals- usually phosphoric acid based.
