A friend's father has two mid70's vintage 400 c.i. Chrysler engines he would probably sell me for $50.00. My only interest in them would be as possible re-power swaps for my '42 WC-54.
I told the son that as far as I knew, the 318/360 was the largest engine a PW could accomodate. He seemed to think the 400 could fit. Is he forgetting something and overly optomistic, or could it be done and would it have merit? Would an appropriate manual transmission allow for p.t.o. ?
