Don't take these problems to seriously, before you all yell at me for that let me splain. I bought a Ferd box truck for work. I then seen the ferd web site and seen the mega problems they have, The diesels have "Cackle" and many more problems. The goofy motors products also have many problems.I finally stopped looking for problems to find on that box truck. It doesn't have any except that its a ferd. Whatever you buy it may have a problem. The internet just makes them seem like they are extreme. I had a 1990 Dodge diesel pickup with a 5 speed 4 wheel drive. granted I only put 72,000 miles on it when I sold it in 1998 to buy a house, but I didn't have the transmission problems that everone said it would have, (The nut loosening up inside). I now have the 99 Dodge diesel with the 5 speed. No problems yet but only 19,000 on it so far, oh wait I did have a problem, earlier this year the crank position sensor went. Dealer covered it. relativly cheap to fix that anyway
