Again, I don't own one just been reading a bunch of stuff on the net, so take that for what it's worth. You know that sometimes a 'vocal minority' can make a problem appear more common than it truly is. This not only applies to the death wobble, but the lift pump issues and the other things.

The death wobble affects the 4x4s. And, from what I've been reading, you will be driving down the road at highway speeds, hit a bump/pothole and the steering wheel will start jerking back and forth. You have to come to a stop to make it go away.

There are many theories on what causes it. The most common 'fix' seems to be a replacement track bar. Others have stated that it's shocks or worn tires. And some folks say they've NEVER experience it!

Even though I've read all these 'horrible' things, I ain't scared and I'm still planning on buying a CTD in the near future ;-) Why? Because I think it's quite possibly the best dang diesel engine (available in a PU) on the market today! But that's <MY> opinion ;-)
