to fit a pw hood to a VF would require a lot of work as hood profiles are different,,, cabs are similar, but VF has flat floor while VF has tranny tunnel. early PW is set up for 230 block, the VF uses a 244 ( outside same as the 251)...
question is why you would want to do this! the VF 4x4 is a rare and unique truck made in '40 only, only a little over 3000 were made!!!
portrayal press has ( or had ) reprints of maint and parts manuals. vintage vidio has "army on wheels" dated 1940 that features these trucks in a training excersise. i've got other odd souces , a page here and there. if your interested give me a shout.
