OT...'99 Dodge diesel....

On the front of the cummins, theres what appears to be a crankcase breather tube, that goes down and drains in front of the oil pan to the right as your standing in front of the motor. My question is, is this indeed a crankcase breather tube, and how much oil would you expect to be coming out of it at 72K mi?
