Posted this mornin my findings but I see forum refreshed so I will tell it again.Made one phone call this mornin up to a old buddy of mine in Tupper Lake to ask of the PW.so he says to me I told you about it a couple weeks ago when you was in the hospital.So I says back to him dont remember ,must have been all that hi test dope the hosp had me on.So heres the scoop.The truck has moved in the last week or so it is no longer parked on rte 3 the exact location was about a mile out of Tupper headin east toward Saranac lake by the motels + tourist cabins.I asked him to describe the truck + he says it was painted yellow + black + I asked what the cab looked like as he is familer with my hard top M37 + he said it was not square but rounded cab + rounded fenders so WM 300? He also told me who owns the truck .The truck owner is the son of Leroys used cars a big car place in Tupper just before the Junction.My old buddy is a Tupper lake native + his name is Lyndon + he bombs around Tupper in a 50s era Willys Jeep Overland station wagon that he built in my shop + he painted it John Deere Green.Tupper lake is about 50 miles west from my place.before the month is out I am going to be making my twice yearly trip to Gloversville to see my 25 yr old daughters mother who for the last 7 yrs has been in a assisted livin group home because of poor choices in life + I take State rte 3 to Tupper then get on State rte 30 + head south thru the lakes Indian,Blue mountain,Speculator It is a very beautiful ride + I am lookin forward to it.Its gettin a little late in the season to ride my Harley that far + I am still not healed up from my surgury so a ride of that distance is out but I will make that ride in my Hot Rod Jeep with the doors on.Peace Flatheads Forever
