Talked with the engineer at the steel yard nearby, its only a 160 mile RT run. Nothing up here in the Mts. He said to use 5/16 x 2 x 6 channel heavy weight 13.0 pounds per square foot. He claims it will hold any engine I might want to put on it. Guy in NH described exactly what I am building. It will be complete with radiator, guages, electrical, fuel, etc. For running gear, I went with 2 house trailer axles and tires. I shortened them to conserve space. The tongue is mounted low so when I hook on it with my tractor's 3 point, I can lift the front axle off the ground and Walla it steers like a trailer, set it down and it has stability. It should be final welded tommorrow, then paint. When I get a engine mounted on it in a week or so, I will post a picture. Thanks for everyone ideas.

Paul
