Many years ago, after my beer froze up on me one night, I invested in a regulation gas ceiling heater, 12,000 BTU, had it professionaly installed and vented, and added lots of insulation throughout my entire thousand sq. ft. shop. I never have the thermostat set higher than 67 deg.,as if
I'm cold at that temperature, I figure I'm not working hard enough! After the installation, I never noticed an increase in my heating bill for the house/shop! It was a very good investment, and one that I'm very comfortable with - carefree and safe! Dave Maher
