There was not any difference between a car spitfire engine and a truck engine in most cases except the spitfire cast into the head. They shared the same compression around the same years. When looking for a good engine look for the full flow oil filter block and the later year blocks that had the larger valves. There is also not much HP difference between the 251 and 265.
