You need to keep going to the meetings. Our California transplants got it into their heads to redo our covenants two years ago. I just kept my mouth shut and got on the committee. By the time I got done making silly suggestons the changes were so extreme that they didn't come close to passing. Think it will be another five years or so before they again try to Californicate the place.
If you stay away from the meetings something really strange is going to happen.
