For now I'm stuck with living in Anchorage with all it's noise and nosy busy bodies, bad drivers, and so on. But I'm already thinking about how nice it will be once the kids are grown and out of high school, to pack up and move out to the sticks someplace. Someplace where I can retire to and not have to listen to emergency sirens at all hours of the day or night or someone telling me that I cann't do something on my own property. Thankfully there is still some remote land left up here, all I have to do is get me a piece of it. Hank Williams Jr summed it best in one of his songs, "I got me a shot-gun rifle and a four-wheel"...
