Jonas. You have seen my house in Idaho. It provided bathroom/laundry facilities for my wife and my 4 kids and me since 1978 and I have only had the tank pumped twice. That was mainly because the soil where the drainfield was installed was too tight and provided poor drainage. We built a mound system in another location about 6 years ago and have had no problems. If your drainage is poor you may need to have it pumped but if the drainage is good you should be able to go many years. Jerry
