if the timing was set correctly it should not
change. check dwell before replacing points
use dwell meter to set new points if set correctly timing should be the same as it was set at last tune-up
perhaps someone could make a copy of what the 251 timing mark looks like and it's position
on the front cover and then use some silver paint to mark the front cover or make a little metal one and epoxy on
skipping is not timing
