Now is the part where character comes in. The PW stands for itself because it is older and more mature. You will get there someday also... you're "friends" on the other hand are debatable. Laugh with them and find ways to make jokes about your truck with them. When they see you are not so heart-attack serious they will lighten up. It also makes it easier should you decide to show up somewhere with a GM or Ford someday, and talk about the frame up restoration in process and the $25,000 the truck might sell for when it's done!.
