Free Speech. Yes, the Policeman was "Just Doing His Job" or was he? I THINK that as a Policeman you've got to work both sides of the complaint in non-life threatening matters. The goal of the Policeman should not be to just get the complainer to "shut-up". Ultimately, as a Policeman you want to conduct affairs in such a way that the people are comfortable with you: not intimidated. You should definitely conduct yourself in a way that is fair. Now those vehicles probably shouldn't have been where they were but who was it REALLY hurting? If it presented some traffic hazard then of course let's get them moved ASAP. If it was only an eyesore for one, then what's the hurry? I don't see why uncommon sense used to be called common sense.
