I'm not looking to start a flame war (pun intended) but I need to throw in my $0.02.
First, why NO FIRE EXTINGUISHER???? They don't take up much room they are well worth thier cost and the space they take up.
Second, I have to agree with the above post, the police officer was only doing his job, and that ticket everyone got was your "warning," he could have towed them all. Just because the DMV is closed on the weekend is no excuse, I have unregistered uninsured vehicles, they don't leave my property and the road in front of my house is NOT my property.
You truck catching fire sucks and I am sorry to hear of that especially considering you no doubt put some time into it, but don't be upset with the police for something like this.
