It looks like it has lockout hubs on the front, highly unlikely for a 36'. It probibly wasn't originaly a 4x4 but could have been converted by one of the companies that converted ford or chevies trucks before they made there own.
The first toyota 4x4 PU trucks in the late 70's were convert in the U.S.
