The chassis number you quote sounds pretty much like a T207 series half ton, and there were no listed T207s as TELEPHONE / MAINTENANCE / CLOSED CAB NO BODY
However the majority of the half tons were 116" wheel base and it would be easy to swap body, chassis, or cab.
If it is a 116" wheelbase the body may be a WC 41 body, or they may have made some of the T207 closed cab trucks as plain chassis cabs for specialist coachbuiders without identifying them on the build sequence.
Is the engine number (front left of engine block) T207xxxxx or T215xxxxx ?
