My 41 WC12 has the u joint with the hole in the middle and 2-bolt locks to hold them inplace (mechanic, I think). My 42 WC53 has the u joint without the hole and uses the 1-bolt strap to hold the bearing in place. I think both intermediate drive shafts are the same size, with the type of u joint being different. My $ 0.02, is to buy a u joint from a surplus dealer that fits your driveshafts, and keep them all the same.
