Hi Tyler,
I asked Dodge about that 'segmented' frame thing last year at Truckville. What they do now is hydroform the base frame and then add "sub-sections", depending upon which wheel base you order they insert a sub-section onto the frame. I guess it is one of those 'bean-counter' things. If you order a cab/chassis you get a one piece 23,000 lb rated frame = )
