I have a Thermal Dynamics 80XL it will cut up to 7/8 clean and sever 1 inch. It drawa about 70 amps. I have not had a problem at all. Its a joy to use. As the other have said, stick with the BIG name brands. And get one that will handle steel thicker than you normally plan to cut, you never know what future work you may want to do. Also I bought the extra air filters/ mostiure seperators to be sure I feen it clean air.
