I've got a Hypertherm 1250. Pulls 70 amps. I'm totally satisfied with the machine and have had no problems. As stated earlier, I stick with U.S. stuff and a big consideration is parts. You DO have consumables that need to be replaced and it is nice to get them quickly rather than having to mail order. I've learned to "stock" a few things here myself to save trips.
On a side note. When I picked up mine I asked the salesmen if everything was included. He told me only one thing wss missing that I might want to get. He said, " Get a pair of tennis shoes, because your going to have to run to keep up with it on thin stuff" He exagerated....but not much. Hope this helps,Kevin
